Uncrafty

Hmmm, it appears I've vanished from the blogworld for a few days.....and my bloglines is again flooded, ack! We have good reasons, peeps.

There has been no crafting since the quilt top went to the machine quilter. Thank you very muchly for the lovely comments! And the bub came down with some severe gastro, you know, the pooing-and-puking kind. To make matters worse, I ended with a milder version of the same bug. Thankfully it only hung around me for a day. Not, not, NOT fun! The poor geezer had to eat takeaway for dinner several nights.

Anyway, she's back to herself again, albeit clingy, and eating like there's no tomorrow. It's kind of worrying when they start refusing their fave snacks. That was our first gastro encounter behind us (it probably won't be our last).....good riddance!

We'll be getting back to regular programming soon-ish....well, as soon as I get time to cut into that project pile above. Cheerio!

I’m glad the bub is on the mend as well as you! I understand you have your quilt quilted at a longarm service? Tell me about it. Did you do this before?

I am glad it is behind you - it is always a bit scary - not to mention disgusting - when they are sick!

Hi Jade - No I can't say I miss the constant bouts of belly problems from my two. Looking forward to more of your stuff. I've changed my blog name by the way to 'sew mad' (bit more my style) so you will have to change your link from 'thirties green'; that's if you are still interested in my rantings on. Cheers Donna

Do I spy an Amy Butler fabric in your pile? I have that one and I am using it in a quilt for my sister which I haven't started yet.

Glad you are feeling better - I don't think there is much worse than gastro - at least when the kids are older they can tell you when they are going to puke!!!
