I'm talking about that "big girl" quilt, the top of which I whizzed through so long ago. It had an extended stay with the quilter over the holidays and I just got it back a fortnight ago. I've been busy with the binding....and now its finally presentable.
On hindsight, I probably should have propped it on the washing line for a better photo. But the line is folded up at the moment and most likely filthy, so this pic will have to do for this gal's crafting annals. Thank you muchly to the geezer, for bearing with me while I did the pic-snapping.
And thank you to everyone, too, for your concern about the state of our sniffles. We all seem to have gotten rid of it now. But you all must be wondering why this place has turned into a thrice weekly blog-post spot to once-a-week. I've kinda been sneaky and put a cap on my daily internet surfing.....which is good, since I'm feeling less guilty about ignoring both the other two humans over here. Plus, there is now more time for crafting, carefully planned meals and other summer pursuits. Consequently, the actual blog posts have been thin on the ground.....which is bad. But I can live with it. Either way, the crafting and art-ing shall continue.
So I'm going back to my stack of wips. Hope everyone has a nice weekend!
Cheerio!

ack!! what a wonderful quilt with all it's blues. it's gorgeous!!!well done!!
I think the limiting the internet hours is a good idea. I am switching my computer off when the kids come home from school now. And it's not coming on until they are all in bed.
Quilt is gorgeous!
Love the quilt, and the little horse on the key ring ...and the linen pants!!!
I am going to take a leaf and limit my computer time....scary how it eats all your creative and more importantly family time!!!
The blue quilt turned out so beautifully. I think perhaps I should limit my time on the computer now too. I normally do it when the kids are at school, so perhaps I can use it for crafting or the "housework" instead. Glad your back to posting again too!
Jade it's GORGEOUS!!!! You must be so pleased with it. I don't know how any of you guys manage to post more than once a week - it's certainly all I can manage! Nice to have you back anyway!
Welcome back Jade - yep this family has been neglected tooo!

well done you. I love those colours.
The quilt looks great Jade -- don't you just love it? Good for you for putting a cap on the blogworld -- I sure wish I could do it -- I really NEED to quit talking about it and just do it -- but it's an obsession!
Wow, the quilt is really beautiful! Love the fabrics and the colours! Less blogging = gaining quality time to make super crafty stuff!

Awesome quilt Jade - love all that blue!
By the way, have tagged you for the "You Make My Day" award :-) Details here.
Those colors are breathtaking! I love that!
The quilt is GORGEOUS!!! Well done... I've cut down on my internet time too this year... I was starting to feel like I was neglecting the rest of my family, I turn my compter off now when my little princess gets out of bed and then it comes back on when she's napping.... Can't wait to see some more finished WIP's!!!
