A different turn

I've been putting this one off for a while. Those confounding flower girl dresses.

With only two weeks to my little sister's wedding, I really needed a swift kick up the arse. So two days ago I started the stitching (yes, needle and thread, not glue gun, although I seriously considered this) and hours later all finished.

Three flower girl dresses, with purple rosettes hand-stitched down the bodice. The kiddo's twirled in hers already. So cute!

And now I can go back to the regular crafting on this 'ere blog.

Patterns have been traced and cut. I just gotta get on with it.........after I rest my sore fingers first.

Cheerio! And hope your weekend wasn't as wet and soggy as ours.

The flower dresses are gorgeous Jade, beautiful flowers on them too. It must have taken you a bit of time to sew them on.

The dresses are great! I love the dark purple flowers!! I too have failed to get my act in gear for crafting.....I did tidy all my craft stuff yesterday - now I only have one extra bag of stuff hiding behind the sofa - the rest is in the boxes it should be in!

Oooh, how pretty! I can't wait to see pictures of the Bub in her dress. And you're soooo bad -- that sneak peek doesn't tell us enough!
