Because I might be staying away from the blog for the next few days, if the weather is nice and sunny....and because this blogging thing is so compulsive!
After that list-y this morning, I managed one pair of bloomers made out of one of the Lightning Bugs fabrics (love this fabric!) and some dainty crochet lace around the legs. Tracing and cutting the dang pattern from the "map of Tokyo" took the longest time. Pattern was from this craft book.
And here are some action pics.
You can hardly see the crochet lace edging. I might try some wider lace next time.
Yep, the bub's almost walking. Once she does, we'll need to put a leash on her.......I'm kiiidddding!

I love the bloomers - just what she needed to match her skivy!
And I love her little corn cob teeth too. She looks like a doll.
She is just adorable!! The bloomers are fantastic! I can see a whole collection for her summer wardrobe! I love the Lightning Bugs fabric too!!
how very cute. ms smiley in bloomers :-)
cute! how did you find the pattern! I think mine are more bloomer (i.e. like huge knickers!) and I'll have to photograph keira in hers today! they are so easy and yours are so cute as is your model!!!
she's so adorable... and bloomers... I love bloomers on kids. Unfortunately boys don't look so hot in them.
Look at that little Bub wearing those adorable knickers! You better get in as much sewing now as you can -- soon you'll be spending all your time chasing her!
Cuteness!! Oh wow. When my son first started walking I felt like a crazy chick running around with my arms stretched out after him ( he was 9 months, way too young IMO) He was 1000 miles an hour on wobbly legs. Good luck. LOL. Bloomers are adorable!
Oh, little Miss C is a darling model, love the design too, more like baggy shorts than the high cut bloomers most people sell. They would be perfect for cloth nappies, which i used & found near impossible to 'cover' up with something pretty & roomy. Gorgeous, love Posie
Cute bloomers, very cute model! What's wrong with a leash?? ......kidding!!
Love your model - and I bet she's loving all the attention :)
The bloomers are adorable - great fabric. Thanks for visiting my blog :)
Those bloomers are so cute, but not near as cute as your little one!!!
