Aqua linen trousers

Nothing beats a cute pair of linen trousers for summer. It'll shade the bub's legs from the sun and still be breezy to wear.

This pair has been on my to-do list for a while.....and it matches nicely with the summer frilly top. I took the pattern from this book. The fourth one I've made from it.

We have a party needing an outfit......and she was napping so well. Yep, this was a nap-time project, no hand-sewing at all. There's great satisfaction to be had with a quick project.

Now, where to next? There's still one more pair of spotty linen trousers for her summer wardrobe to make, but I think it'll have to be a mid-summer project. The holiday crafting list is begging to be started.

Okeydokes! Must make lists!

Awww, they're so cute. I miss having a little one to sew for. I keep putting off starting the holiday sewing -- I need to get at it though -- the clocks ticking!

Snap! I had just finished making a pair of shorts for Annette too from that same book! LOL! But it's only the first one I made from the book... just getting started with summer clothes sewing :)

Cute pants Jade! And it goes wonderful with the top! Good luck with the lists, mine are growing in stead off shrinking!

I haven't seen that book! Are they as easy as the other pattern book? I finally received my "cozy homewears" and "favourite black clothes" books, but they seem a lot more complicated than the kids ones... I'll just bump them down on my to do list! just had my goodies copied by some copy cat mums at a local school, apparently they are selling them online too! hmm, quietly fuming...

Love those quick and easy projects.
Can't say I can use that "nap project" in my house.
Mine would be a quick after dinner project.

The breeks (a good Scottish word for trousers) are just great! I love the colour!! And that you sewed them so quickly! I really need to learn to use a machine!
