More crochet madness

What can I say?! I'm addicted to crochet projects now.

Just as well, I was bunged up again with a bug of sorts last week. I was so lethargic, I only had enough energy for repetitive wrist action.

This one's a scarf for the kiddo, made with one ball of Grignasco Bambi Merino Extrafine in an eye-popping shade of melon (although I think they've called it "salmon").

The pattern is just a simple sequence of chains and single crochet stitches from this craft book. Here's a better view.

Since I'm feeling much better today, I better go cuddle the sewing machine. It's feeling a tad neglected. And while we're at it, there's a pile of housie chores that I've been avoiding. Methinks I need to take the blinkers off.

Cheerio!

It's just beautiful Jade. I love the chunky roundness of crochet stitches. That is one of my favourite colours.

I'm sorry, I can't notice the scarf for that cute little bub -- she's getting so big! Look at her looking at her new scarf -- she's smitten! Oh, there's a picture of just the scarf -- now I can look. Very, very nice -- and it looks good and warm!

Bet you're wondering who future mrs. k is ROFLOL. Apparently my future DIL was on this computer earlier and I missed it -- I'm hoping you and Nicolette are the only places I've been since I got on LOL!

Wow Jade, you are getting addicted to crochet indeed and it looks great again! The colour is really yummy and looks adorable on the bub! I need to cuddle my sewing-machine. I have hardly used on it and I have a workshop machine-quilting this week....

I love it! Makes me want to pick up that crochet hook and get stitching. And yes, melon, not salmon. I'm with you.

I love the scarf - such a great colour and so perfectly crocheted!! Bub looks great! Yarn can become a serious addiction - take it from one whose house is slowly being overcome!!

the stitching is beautiful! The wearer looks happy to be modeling the scarf! Glad to hear you are feeling better.

See? that's why I love crochet... it's soooo... nice. The scarfs never curl up at the edges. And the repetitiveness of it...? so soothing.

great job.
