Wall of revolving arty

Am I really in blog denial? I'm secretly hoping the blog would scribe itself and I'll just think the words out loud. Apologies, bloggy peeps, for dropping out like that. But unfortunately, it will have to be that way.......as we're wayyyy busy right now. I'm so missing five months ago, when the most exciting thing I had on the boil was the next Sex & the City re-run.

But remember my dilemma? Well, its kinda sorta sorted. And apparently I'm practicing minimalism nowadays. Who knew I had it in me? That's what happens when you do a pretty major clean-up and ours was a super gigantic toss-out.

I realised after looking at all the pretty pictures that I needed some three dimensional stuff thrown in as well, just to mix it up. Ikea came to the rescue again with these shelves. And ta da! Here's what I managed to cobble together on our dining room wall.

Bonus is I get to swap out the decor when the mood takes me. And because I have to throw a kiddo pic as well, here's the little tearaway posing in the corner.

Hope everyone's having a great week! By the way, 10 weeks to the big C. Eeek!!!

OhMyGosh -- the Bub's not a baby anymore!!! She's an adorable little girl! And did you make her little blouse? Sooooo cute! Love the new decor. Thanks for checking in -- I clicked over here ('cause bloglines is being goofy tonight with no notices for me) and had decided I was going to leave you a check-in message whether you'd posted or not!

I love those Ikea shelves, I have one in my sewing room above my cutting table and it is SO handy. I would love more around the place.

Your display looks gorgeous, and I love your table!

Sorry I'll miss you tonight, I hope you have a lovely evening!

looking great. i saw this on flickr and really want to know if you got your muji city in Aus? I think I know the answer to this one.

they don't seem to ship to Australia, which I think is really strange. I would love a Paris set!
